TO THE MOUNTAINS! is a game that doesn't exist -- but if it did, you'd play as a little creature determined to finally leave home and have yourself an adventure for once! 

In a friendly little world similar to games like A Short Hike and Wanderhome, this game-that-isn't starts when you decide to skip little creature school and spend your school day making for the mountains instead!  Starting in your river valley home, you traverse misty forests, sun-baked grasslands, and make a final climb to the peak -- all the while making new friends, helping out the folks around you when you can, and rediscovering all the ways your home actually is one of your most favorite places to be.

(Written for the OST Composing Jam #4, using Cedric Stoquer's fantastic Petaporon sequencer!)

The four songs here are a proof-of-concept for an eventual full soundtrack:

1. here goes nothing (main theme) is the first thing you hear when you set off down the road!

2. foxglove meadow is for one of the many new-to-you environments you encounter: a lush forest meadow filled with butterflies and towering foxgloves in full bloom.

3. mist river ferry crossing is for another environment, a ferry ride that's a spooky good time.

4. homecoming comes right at the end of the game, as you return home to rejoin your family under the first stars of night.
